Title: Nickelodeon contestant question

For shows like Finder's Keepers & Double Dare...

1. Were there contestant plugs during the show?

2. Anyone know how the contestant process for kids differed from network adult game shows (if it did differ at all)?

For the most part, they went to Philadelphia (or LA) area schools and talked to the teachers, who then recommended contestants, IIRC from some cable program guide article.

Of course, by the time "DD" got to Orlando, they were just pulling kids out of the lines at Universal.
