Title: Goodson's Last Game
Post by: The Pyramids on June 30, 2005, 07:50:23 PM
I imagine the last thing Mark Goodson must have developed, ran through and perfected had to be the 'Family Feud' bullseye round (which I like every time I see).

Did he leave behind talk of any new projects, such as a new 'Password' or 'TPIR' in syndication again?

But that was no more than a simplified version of the main game. I'd say Goodson's last full blown new project was TKO, correct? Speaking of which, was that Tomarken's only work with Goodson?

It's funny that you wished that. A number of pilots are preparing to commence their trading circuit routes before too long. I won't spoil the surprises, but some of these gems are real Spellbinders while others justifiably got TKO'd by the networks.

(And just for the record, these gems aren't my discovery, but I know they're there.)

I know Goodson's last original work was Trivia Trap.

Last original work that made it onto the airwaves, yes. But TKO was an original format from 1990, so may have been Goodson's last original attempt.

Trivia Trap wasn't very original.  :-)

Just out of curiosity, who announced the TKO and Spellbinders pilots?
