These are interesting to see, don't get me wrong - but are you going to just post retro TV schedules, or are you going to contribute to conversations too?
-
I want to know what aired on WBZ on August 27, 1977 @ 7:30PM. Also, I will not rest until I know the exact order of the commercials that ran in said show as well.

Maybe it's time someone created a Yahoo! group for these retro listings posts. That way the forum isn't so consumed with them.

Obviously, if you had the damn TV guide in front of you, you would know.
But I'm betting my chips on "you don't know and are just guessing".

Man, Boston must have hated Tom Kennedy's guts. His To Say the Least is nowhere to be found!
Cordially,
Tammy Warner--'the Edie McClurg of the Big Board!'

In fact, had the programming department at Channel 4 known that Jack Narz was Tom's brother, Concentration would've been gone like a shot. They don't even close the schools on February 26th in Boston in honor of Tom's birthday; that's how anti-Tom they are. The shame of it all. The shame.

Would you settle for a brand new sarcasm detector, Mark? Yours is dead.

His To Say the Least is nowhere to be found![/quote]It's not WBZ's fault that the network kept putting Tom's shows (50GS, TSTL, and Wordplay, just to name three) in the noon - 1:30 block, when the station ran Eyewitness News at Noon followed by a local talk hour (most notably the local franchise of Group W's People Are Talking, <ObGS> hosted for a time by Tom Bergeron. </ObGS>)
Esoteric Eric, who remembers Gene Rayburn co-hosting (and / or sub-hosting) an earlier, audience-free prototype of PAT that joined the principals in mid-conversation at the top of the show, and left them the same way at the end

Wonder if Tom had something to do with saying anything bad about Boston to offend the city?

It completely fails to surprise me that you wondered that.

It's probably something a crumedgeon might use. (Click here (http://\"http://gameshow.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=163\") to find what a crumedgeon is.)
