Title: More bad game show humor
Post by: GS Warehouse on May 27, 2005, 11:41:24 AM
The other day I was a "contestant" during a Lingo run-through.  We know Chuck may be a little rusty with more than a year since the last Lingo tapings, so they're doing rehearsals.  It was my teammate's turn to start the next puzzle with an N as the starter letter.  Her guess was "nouns", and the N's and the S turned orange.  It was my turn, but I couldn't come up with a word, so at the buzzer I blurted out, "neans, N-E-A-N-S".  Chuck gave me a weird look and said, "I don't think that's a word."  I said, "Well, at least it uses the N's."  Chuck said, "The N's don't justify the 'neans.'"

The story above is fictional and is purely for entertainment purposes.  No game show hosts were harmed in the writing of this joke.

Hopefully you won't be too TIC'd off. ;)

That's a good one by Chuck. I've always liked the quick humor you find on Chuck's shows, especially Scrabble.

Then when Stacey said "I like a little cunning Lingo-ist," the laugh track exploded.

You do understand the definition of the word "fictional", yes?
