Post by: trivia202003 on January 17, 2005, 01:19:30 PM
Was there any special categories on the game show "Bullseye?"

Not quite in the TJW realm of "special," but "Bullseye" liked to use visual categories. This was a good thing, since the clues were displayed on the slick telescoping screen thing, located covertly behind the players. It opened and closed like an old fashioned camera shutter.

Well, it wasn't special since TTD and TJW also used visual categories (pretty much one category every game).  Seems like the "contract" play made all the categories special (compared to, say a TJW "Fast Forward" category).

True, but there was an icon behind the all-visual categories that let you know they were such, IIRC, that looked a little like the dope screen in question. I think that is the kind of special the OP had in mind.

That said, there were no other kinds of specials...just the all-visual ones.

Thanks for the Info. Now can anyone do me a favor by locking this topic, please.

Why lock it? When people lose interest in it, it will gradually move its way to the back of the board. No need to lock.

One might say the visual categories became a bit more special once Bullseye went to the celebrity format, since they were the only ones that didn't offer multiple choice answers.
