Title: Allen Ludden's Wardrobe

Something I've noticed on the Password Plus reruns (as opposed to the new episodes) in my collection is that when Bill Cullen or Tom Kennedy are hosting there is a credit for the wardrobe supplier. Not so when Mr. Password is hosting. Was he therefore wearing his own clothes on those shows? This would certainly the explain the leisure suits a couple of years after they faded from fashion.

Wasn't Allen a fashion and style consultant  for CBS for while.

I've pondered many ironies since leaving the show 24 years ago, but this one has eluded me.
