Title: Now on golden-road.net
Post by: Casey Buck on November 25, 2004, 12:37:11 PM
Just in time for Thanksgiving, the Golden Gallery (http://\"http://golden-road.net/modules.php?name=gallery\") has over 20 exclusive pictures (as well as an explanation of the rules) of this long-lost pricing game. If you're a registered user at g-r.net, go there right now.

Interesting... it's basically Give or Keep, presented in a different (and IMO more fun) manner.

Presentation reminded me somewhat of Hurdles, while gameplay, as was said, was more or less a copycat of Give or Keep

My feelings exactly. :-) Pity it didn't last longer, looked like a fun game...I guess it suffered from the same mechanical probs that beset Hurdles, or perhaps was too close a copy of the latter.

John said yesterday on G-R that it was indeed mechanical problems.

I am not sure how I can be a registered user, can you possibly help me?  I sent my nickname as "gsnstooge", but I have not gotten word about what my password is.

1.)  Registration is down at the moment.

2.)  Why would AOL be involved in giving you a password for Golden-Road?

My interpretation of what he's saying is that his registration e-mail hasn't been processed by AOL's incoming mail server.  Of course, he's not getting that e-mail any time soon due to your first statement.

Due to our ongoing server isses, registration was knocked down temporarily.  (As stated on the front page)
