Title: Pearson 'Password'
Post by: The Pyramids on November 07, 2004, 02:05:47 PM
Seriously, did Pearson television ever make a 'Password' pilot?

I did not find 'Cars Sharks' or esp. 'To Tell the Truth' as slip-shod as the Louie Anderson 'Family Feud', so I am wondering if they trired 'Password'  as well.

It was in development in the late '90s with Bob Noah in charge. AFAIK a pilot was never shot.

My 2 cents is I heard it was kinda like Hot Streak with 5 or so people on a team and the idea was to "pass" the password down the line from person to person.

Hmm. That's nothing like the classic Password. Sounds like something Pearson would do, alright.

Imagine if it made the air in 2001, they could team it with Pat Bullard's concoction and call it the PINO/CaSINO Hour*

* - CaSINO you already know, I think.  PINO of course is "Password In Name Only"
