GSN Plans Family Feud Thanksgiving Feast Marathon
GSN goes back to its holiday roots Thanksgiving Day with a Family Feud Thanksgiving Feast marathon.
The network will air seven hours of Feud episodes from 12 noon to 7 p.m. (EST).
The marathon will comprise both Richard Dawson and Ray Combs episodes. In the mid-1990s, a Thanksgiving Feud extravaganza was hosted by both Dawson and the late Gene Wood.
On a related note, GSN announced Tuesday plans for a prime time interactive marathon Dec. 12.
The Sunday evening 8-11 p.m. (EST) will include episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Weakest Link and Win Ben Stein's Money.
Live wraparounds will be sandwiched around the episodes. GSN did not announce its host for the interstitial segments.

Does this mean that we will see another 1994 episode?

Not necessarily. What is being reffered to is that on Thanksgiving 1995, Dawson and Ray Combs co-hosted a Feud marathon on GSN. IIRC Gene Wood hosted a marathon on Thanksgiving 1996 in a similar manner. The Dawson wrap-around segments from 1995 and associated celeb Feud episodes were rerun on Thanksgiving 2000.

Thanks for the information. I don't think I caught the marathon in 2000 and I didn't have GSN in 1995 & 96.

Yeah, I got this a long time ago, but this is not completely true. GSN has announced TENTATIVELY a Family Feud marathon. It is not absoltely sure yet, but I'll be willing to bet it happens. In addition, there will be a Lingo New Years Day marathon from noon till 8PM.

Guide Angel posted the "Family Feud" episodes that are scheduled to air (although they could change) on the GSN message board in the Classics section.
