Title: Donny Osmond back on the UK top 10
Post by: brianhenke on September 26, 2004, 03:12:56 PM
Pyramid may be canceled but Donny Osmond is celebrating his return to the UK singles chart after 30 years.

His new single Breeze on By entered the chart today at Number Eight. His last Top 10 single over there was in late 1973!

That first sentence sounds like a typical opening sentence of an article by Perfesser Stosh.
I beg of you, please don't write like that again.

I guess they didn't ID him as a Mystery Artist as was done when SOldier Of Love was first played on radio stations in 1989.

Actually, the Mystery Artist/Donny Osmond bit was done on WPLG in New York.

 Brian

Actually, the mystery Artist was a nationwide thing...his record company did it....and we heard it in Miami...

and , it's WPL J , not WPL G, in New York....

Matt

Does anyone really answer the dumb questions Brian Henke puts down here?

And it was mentioned on "American Top 40" at the time as well!
