Title: WBSM music package

Just a quick-and-dirty question.  What were the pieces used for various intros, outros, and other things during the show.  I can pick out "Ode To Joy" at the end of the opening, and "Ride of the Valkyries" at the end, but that's all.

And the mere fact that I had to ask likely proves that I would have had no shot in hell on the program.

I think Beethoven's 9th Symphony might've also been used as well, but I could be wrong.

Incidentally, they probably used classical music to save money, because classical music is public domain and no royalties have to be paid.

It's been a while since I've seen the show but a movement from Handel's Water Music was used for commercial breaks.  I played this song in church a while back; the whole movement is pretty cool.

 That's correct.

Beethoven's 9th Symphony is actually quite long.  What's known as "Ode to Joy" is one of the movements of his 9th Symphony.  And what's funnier is that this was one of the hymns we sang in church yesterday.  :-)

Intro - Bach cantata - "Sheep May Safely Graze"?
Beethoven - "Ode To Joy" from 4th movement of 9th symphony
Lead-in to first commercial - Handel's Water Music
Lead-out from first commercial - Vivaldi's Four Seasons ("Spring")
Lead-in to second commercial - Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik"
Lead-out from second commercial - "Ode To Joy" again
Lead-in to final commercial - Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ("Russian Dance"?)
Lead-in to final round - Mussourgsky's "Night On Bald Mountain"
If the challenger wins - "Ode To Joy" again
Credits - Wagner's "Ride Of The Valkyries"
