Not counting reality-based shows, we'll probably never see a traditional game show on DVD, but to some, this is the next-best thing. A press release at the TV Shows on DVD site (http://\"http://tvshowsondvd.com\") announcing the upcoming season 3 box set of Three's Company also tells that distributor Anchor Bay Entertainment is considering releasing said show's two short-lived spinoffs. While everybody remembers The Ropers (well, at least everybody who remembers The Ropers to begin with) for Norman Fell and Audra Lindley, you might recall a certin dealer from the original version of Card Sharks, the late Lois Areno, as a co-star, as was a pre-Arrested Development Jeffrey Tambor (who, as you may also recall, served one season as announcer of H²). Hey now!
ObGameShows: The game show ramifications of Three's Company, The Ropers, and Three's a Crowd is too long to list here, so I'll save these for a future thread.

During the hosts tourament on "Card Sharks", Gene Rayburn's flirtatious nature may have cost him a game. Lois was one of the dealers, Gene said something to Lois, Jim thought he said "Lower" and the card was higher.

The card was a king. Do you REALLY think he intended to call it higher? Or change it?
