I apologize if this counts as a spoiler and thus should be moved to the other section. It seems more appropriate here.
www.wheeloffortune.com has posted information about its theme weeks for the coming season. A couple notes of interest: based on weeks in November, February and May - it seems as if in addition to Philly they are traveling back to Las Vegas, and for the first time (I THINK - not sure) Kansas City. Also, the week of October 31st is entitled "America's Game." Perhaps they'll do something interesting honoring themself this year (who knows). Either that or a tribute to baseball?

Maybe it has something to do with the Wheel being on offically (counting network shows), for 30 years.

I doubt it, esp. since they barely celebrated the 20th anniversary season, except putting "20th Anniversary" during the intros. The only time you really ever hear about the NBC/CBS days is during the 3,000/4,000 episodes. (And no, Zach, this is not an invitation for you to tell us any other occurances that I've either forgotten or don't give a damn about.)
My guess it's something World Series related, since 1) it's in late-October and 2) like JTFriends said, baseball is considered "America's Game."

"America's Game" is/was also the slogan of "Wheel"--would this be another birthday celebration week?

Plus, Pat is a huge baseball fan, so that may have to do with it.

Wait a minute? Wouldn't the week of October 31 be Halloween week, or would that be the week before Halloween?

10/31 falls on Sunday this year, so perhaps WHeel will air its Halloween themed week on 10/25-10/29.
