Jeremy Beadle, the UK TV host who hosted the British version of Win Ben Stein's Money (called Win Beadle's Money) has had major surgery after doctors found a cancerous 9-centimeter tumor in his kidney.
Doctors learned that the cancer hasn't spread.
Beadle has been a British TV fixture for many years.

Source?
Ananova. [/quote]
That's not enough.
http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story...ent.celebrities (http://\"http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_1049573.html?menu=entertainment.celebrities\")
THIS is enough. Please post a link if you're going to cite stories.

And since someone missed the lecture in class about posting a link to the article so that people can get more than a brief bit about the news story:
http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story...ent.celebrities (http://\"http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_1049573.html?menu=entertainment.celebrities\")
EDIT: Bad timing strikes again

I should add that it seems to me that the Sunday People is not the most reliable news source in the world (and I believe that our British correspondents can back me up on this)--and that can pretty much be said about every British tabloid paper--they are about as trustworthy a news source as our supermarket checkout rags.
In checking Google News, there is no more reliable source to verify this story.

I was about to say, this doesn't seem to have reached any of the other media at all over here and I'd be fairly certain if it were true it would get at least minimal coverage somewhere.

Doesn't Ananova have a history of making up stories? From my experiences on Fark.com, they won't even take links from Ananova because they make up stories and pass them off as real.
