We all know Ken is done for the season, and that it's a while before the new season begins. Some of us have wondered just what it might take to bring down Goliath, and I have one guess.
If it's a long enough gap between the last taped episodes and the new season, he may have lost the momentum in working the buzzer that was such a huge advantage for his string of victories.
On the other hand, he usually gets two-thirds of the material right anyhow, so it might not be an issue, but I wonder if my hunch has any credibility. Is the break long enough that even Ken wouldn't be able to get back to 100% at the beginning, and someone could sneak off with a victory?

My theory: his first few shows of the next season will be like his first few shows. He'll basically start over, and build up his momentum again.

I'm basically figuring that that's going to be the only way he can lose. And note that that might not be necessarily the first shows of the new season...
