Title: J! 5-day record?
Post by: Lemonjello on July 20, 2004, 06:55:38 PM
Anyone know who holds the record for most money won on J! for their first 5 days with adjusted dollar amounts? (ie. $180,000 becomes $90,000 if the contestant was on after J! doubled the dollar amounts)

Thanks.

I'm sure it would be the current champion, Ken Jennings:  $156,000

But then again, if you go the other way:
           Frank Spangenberg:  $102,597/ (205,194).....

The Perf cited Spangenberger as the last regular money total to beat.

Thanks guys.

So...
1. Frank Spangenberg: $102,597
2.? Ken Jennings: $78,000 (adjusted)

Is Frank the only person ahead of Ken?

That depends on which five episodes you count in a row...

There are at least three I can think of: Bob Blake, John Cuthbertson, and Jerome Vered, who's still at number two on the list.

I think Ken had a (double-money) recent run of five at:

$52K, $52K, $27K, $17K, $50K

but that still wouldn't be enough to deal with Spangenberg...
