What day did PYL replace the $2250 and $1750 slides with $750 and $500+One Spin on the board?
I know it's sometime in August, but I don't know.
I know it was before Back To School Week, but I can't get an exact date.

The changes were made on the first show with the new color scheme. I believe it was August 22, 1985.
Anyone know the exact date they're up to now?

I've never understood why they put such (comparatively) dismal values in square 1 in Season Three. BTW, the first neon episode should air Sunday, August 29, 2004.

Neon?

Neon?
When the board slides' color scheme was changed to brighter, more "neon" colors. Such as a more light green for 5k and a spin.

I would think it would have something to do with the near cumulative cheapening of the board, and also perhaps some negligence/sloppiness in second spin segment board design. Nevertheless, it surely made P-A-C lose most to all of its usefulness.

Geez, were that close already?!? I still thought we were a few months away from that. Oh well.

If PYL, which premiered on 9/1/01 on GSN,has a three year contract as some speculate, that may be the last time we see the show on GSN, considering it ain't likely to be renewed in this day and age of the channel.
