And it was pretty good news, despite the low payouts. SM won the timeslot with a 7.5/12 (the rating was the same as CBS' movie, but it had more viewers in total). The 18-49's weren't the best (ABC was 3rd, behind CBS, but they both were crushed by FOX), but I think if it's repeated tonight, it might be enough to do another run.

Millionaire finished first in its timeslot with a 4.0 18-49 rating. Not a huge number but quite nice by ABC's usual standards:

For an ABC show Millionaire is performing very respectably. As E!Online put it about last week's shows:
"The last leg--make that, four episodes--of ABC's Super Millionaire was super in the relative sense that the quiz show did super compared to just about everything else on the network, averaging a steady 9.4 million."

Maybe that'll teach Reege not to open his big mouth & sound off on ABC like he did on his Live show on Tuesday. Man, if I didn't know better, I'd say he was "under the influence" thanks to his 3 Wise Men banter at the beginning of the show.

One could say the same about you when you make your posts. GEEZ!

If Regis didn't see the promotion, he probably didn't know about it.
That said, I lost count of how many times in the last ten days I heard ABC spots on the radio with Reege yelling "TEN MILLION DOLLARS!"--more than anything else other than the ABC Sitcom/"Bachelor" Voiceover Guy's voice.
