Of all the half-hour game shows not done in a studio, which one is best? I saw "Oblivious" for the first time the other day and thought it was a good show. Your choice does not have to be limited to shows currently on the air.

The problem with this question lies in the whole "reality show" phenomenon. As an example, does The Bachelor count as a "game show not done in a studio"? Does it even count as a game show?
If "reality game shows" (or "reladocugameumentary operas") count in your question, then I've have to split my vote between Survivor, The Mole and The Amazing Race. Oh, TAR, now there's a show that's definitely not in a studio.
Oh, you said a half-hour show. Hmm...
MXC? No, that's a comedy show.
I guess I'd have to go with Oblivious too.

I got another answer.
DIAMOND HEAD GAME!
The 1975 syndicated show hosted by Bob Eubanks & music by Alan Thicke.

Wow. If by "best" you mean "sucked like nothing else before had ever sucked" then I agree wholly with you.
"Born Lucky" with Bob Goen didn't blow, but I have to be missing something obvious.
I'm starting to think that the list of half-hour game shows regularly produced at a remote site is pretty damn short in and of itself. (Because I also assume we're not counting weeks of Feud at the Opry, or Squares in Florida, or WLOD in Hawaii.)

Ultra Quiz, anyone? I still think that a new version would be perfect for Comedy Central.

I thought of that, but the stip stated that they be half-hour shows, and Ultra Quiz ran an hour.
If length of show be damned, that would be my first choice, too. GREAT show.
