Title: The Price is Right Live! coming to Atlantic City
Post by: Timsterino on May 10, 2004, 09:08:47 PM
Hi all,

I just received the new "Harrah's World" magazine and they announced that "The Price is Right Live!" stage show will be at the Showboat, The Mardi Gras Casino from July 1 - August 31.

As soon as I know more information, I will post it. It looks like east coasters will get to check it out this summer.

Tim :-)

P.S. The magazine also shows the newest TPiR slot based on "Dice Game".

The first game show to come to AC in 13 years. Any word on who will host and/or announce the Atlantic City shows?

Woo-hoo! Good to see AC finally get some GS action headed their way, if only in the form of a stage show.

And hey, it'll be much better than Ruckus. :-)

 Word DOES travel quickly!

Based on the show's continuing success in Kansas City, the decision has been made that TPiR LIVE will indeed travel to a good number of Harrah's markets over the coming months. Atlantic City, Chicago and New Orleans are in the mix for the nearer future.

Since he has taken the stage in KC already, I can tell you that Marc Summers is the latest TPiR LIVE host to join the rotation. Chris Harrison and Todd Newton remain as faves on the roster. But you can expect to several hosts and announcers at the upcoming dates in the scheduled cities, including some names not yet mentioned.

If you're there when I'm there, say hello - I'll buy the first drink!

More than a couple of shots and I can't NOT tell stories. And they're not all pretty! I should probably consider carrying a stack of non-disclosure forms!!

Thanks buddy. I appreciate all the kind words on this board, and I love meeting fans and new friends. Hope to see you  soon.

But most of them are funny!  Randy's got some good ones.

I can see the line behind Randy's barstool getting longer by the minute.  :)

See ya there.

Perhaps us East Coasters should organize a group visit to the show? If anyone else is up for the idea, I'd be happy to take on the details and try to put something together.

And maybe after a few drinks, Randy will finally tell us what Barker was REALLY like... :-D

That sounds like a cool idea Chuck.  I've always wanted to see what really goes on in these live shows.  Atlantic City & TPIR Live in the summertime.  Just the perfect thing for me.

I'm game, but we might want to find out who's hosting & announcing on what date/time.

I don't want to hear Daniel Rosen.

Does a ticket guarantee admission? (ie: only sell the amount of tickets for the amount of seats they have)?

As far as Daniel Rosen goes, my bet is you will hear him. He has announced most of the TPiR Live shows.

As far as if the tickets = guaranteed admission, that answer is yes. They only sell the # of seats they have in the house. The tickets have seat #s on them which in turn is your keypad #.
