Mark L. Walberg Hosts Pax's On The Cover:
Former Temptation Island regular Mark L. Walberg has been named host of upcoming Pax TV game show On the Cover. Debuting on Monday, May 17 at 8 p.m. ET, On the Over will pit three contestants opposite each other in a trivia contest based on images from the covers of today's most popular magazines and the latest CD and DVD releases

Well at least Mark is doing something else since RR wont be renewed. Can't wait to see it.

What I find interesting is that they're putting the show on in prime time. Looks like Pax is desperate to get some first-run programming in prime time--and I don't blame them.

I'm guessing they'll use canned applause ala Lingo

This is what we were told at the auditions. No studio audience.
Haven't received any news since I was told that I made the contestant pool 3 weeks ago. Good to know that production is actually starting.

I'm guessing they'll use frozen applause, since it tastes fresher than canned.

I wonder who is going to host Balderdash?

I'm guessing they'll use frozen applause, since it tastes fresher than canned.
Maybe they'll even use fresh squeezed applause, as nothing tastes better then homemade.

But John just said "No Audience," so it's not homemade.
If you're going to try to play off someone else's joke, make sure you get it yourself first. :-)

So no audience in the studio, and because it's on PAX, no audience at home. Is anybody gonna see this show?

Why does the description of the premise of this game give me eerie reminders of another show that had a similar premise....
PEOPLE.... The Game. Pilot hosted by future Trump Card host Jimmy Cefalo
Maybe if that show had trap doors, it would've been interesting..... nah!

That'll never work. To get the PAX audience (there's a contradiction in terms for you), replace Mark L. Walberg with a white-haired doctor, and replace the magazine-based questions with murder mysteries.
Bud, just fold up the tent already!

The biggest mistake PAX ever made was getting rid of Dirty Rotten Cheater. I will just assume their budget wouldnt allow for it, but DRC was one of the best game shows of the 4 years in this decade IMO.

The web site has been updated with more graphics and info, but not much more than what was in the press release. There is a part about signing up for an online game.
