In your mind, are there any obscure games that weren't "cool" ?

Bargain Hunters was made when Home Shopping Network first debuted. That's right, HOURS of non stop jewelry and other useless junk and an obnoxious bicycle horn that sounded when some caller purchased the item (note: Home Shopping has become MUCH more sophisticated and more practical since)

Bargain Hunters was more in the mold of TPIR rather than SOTC. BH also had 3 big doors.

Peter Tomarken HATED this show, and for very good reasons. He had a fallout with Merrill Heatter (who produced BH) that would later brand Peter as being very difficult.

Which, out of the 3 home shopping-themed games that debuted in 87, was prolly the most tolerable, compared to BH and the God-awful Shopper's Casino.

I still haven't forgiven Mike Klauss for sending me a tape of "Shopper's Casino."

Yes, Mike, I know I asked for it, and I know you warned me, but that didn't mean you had to listen. :-P

That's what friends are for!  That reminds me, I think I owe you several hundred copies of Malcolm.

Can anyone tell me how SC was actually played? As much as it's bashed...I can't track down a single rule sheet.

(and I liked Malcolm <g> but I also prefer Anderson to Karn, so my opinion is no longer vaild :-))

If you liked Regil more than both, such angst would not be needed ;-)
