Anyone know when they started the less then $100 rule and does anyone by chance have the very first time it happened?  j/c

 1974-75 season it began IIRC.

If the < $100 was started in its 3rd season, when did they change it to $250 or <?  My guess is around Season 16.

 You're 11 seasons off on that change. The DSW rule change to $250 or less occurred at the top of season 27.
