Title: Lingo question
Post by: bulldog_06 on April 14, 2004, 11:11:11 PM
Did the Michael Reagan version of Lingo tape in Vancouver? If so, why did they have a contestant plug which to be mailed to the Burbank Studios?

Probably for mail routing, just like many magazines, whose main offices are in New York, but you send your resubscription notice to Boone, Iowa.

Also, Andrews' main offices were probably there.

Like every other Canadian game show that aired in the U.S., they didn't really want to reveal where they were taping (and this goes back to the Jack Narz "BTC"--they actually bleeped "Montreal" when a guest celeb said "it's great to be here in Montreal on your show, Jack").
