My lady is a big true crime fan and had Dateline on last night. This case involved a woman accused of hiring a hit man to kill her son-in-law. What does this have to do with game shows, you ask? Turns out the mother-in-law, Donna Adelson, appeared on nighttime Wheel in 1989 and they showed clips from her appearance. Looks like she won at least $2,200.
The trailer doesn't feature any clips, but the episode "Deadly Mischief" does and is available on Peacock. It's a wild story. (https://www.abajournal.com/news/article/donna-adelson-was-matriarch-mastermind-in-law-profs-murder-but-others-could-be-charged-jury-foreperson-speculates)

Whoa! Her trial and verdict were all over WCTV in Tallahassee recently (which, incidentally, has been the station I’ve watched Wheel on my entire life). I wouldn’t mind seeing this, as I watched some of the coverage but haven’t followed the ins and outs of the case. Never knew she was on Wheel.
