I throw this question out to all: If you could have one game show set in your house, which one would you want? This is fantasy, so don't think about space limitations, electric bills, and so on. I'll save my answer until I've heard from some of you.

I want a house big enough for the Winning Lines set.
-
I would want that drop zone right in the middle of my room.
-
No contest....PRESS YOUR LUCK! ;)
-
For April Fool's Day, those of you who work in offices could rearrange the cubicles as an homage to "The Money Maze."
-
I would LOVE to have the set from The $25,000 Pyramid in my house.
-
Think of it: a Family Feud rec-room! (Dawson or Combs set)
The buzzer makes a great coffee table...
JOSH
-
Price is Right complete with Shell Game, Hole in One, and Plinko sets of course, plus Superball!! if Boden is willing to give it up. And maybe a wheel from Wheel of Fortune.
-
Survivor.
-
Hmm, I'm torn between The Price is Right current set and Wheel of Fortune 89 set.
-
The Apprentice.
-
Hollywood Squares 1986.
-
Survivor.
Hell, The Amazing Race.
-
My compound might be able to fit the QUicksilver or USA Chain Reaction set.
-
I want "Where is the World is Carmen Sandiego?" Complete 40-50's set and The Chief's Desk.
Charles
-
OK, because somebody's gotta say it ... just give me the dressing room for Barker's Beauties :)
Barring that, maybe the first "mod" set from 70s To Tell The Truth. It was sooooo groovy!
-
I'll probably be the only one who says this.. But I'd like to have the Face the Music set. I liked all the chase lights, and having a live band in my house would be great. :)
-

"Classic Concetration", because you don't have to water neon foilage.
-
Tough call...it'd be 80's High Rollers or 80's Pyramid. Probably lean toward HR because that set was just too cool...all the electronics were pretty awesome too.

I'd want the Concentration board, clunky trilons and all ... in addition to the prize board slips.
Would probably computerize the controller for the board, and update the set around it.
-
Trump Card. Including the surroundings... ALL of the surroundings. :-D
-
Fort Boyard.
-
Finders Keepers.
It would certainly redefine "Monster House," that's for sure...
-
Ultra Quiz.
-
I call dibs on the original Card Sharks set.
-
I'll take Match Game. It has The least amount of electronics to break down. Plus you can still play during a Power Outage! Can I get an unlimited supply of Blank cards for answers too? I'll even buy my own magic markers. :-)

-
Well, if Lemon can choose Survivor, then I want the set from a reality show featured on South Park.
That's right, folks: Earth.
-
Speedy G. stole my thunder on Finders Keepers. That would be my pick. My mom may not like the idea of having kids roaming the house searching for hidden items in each room.
-
I'd be happy with a TPiR wheel and plinko board. A friend and I recently discussed possibly attempting to build a replica wheel. Should we do so, I may turn to you folks for some help.
-
Battlestars :)
-
I call dibs on the original Card Sharks set.
Fine, then I get the Eubanks era set.
-
"Win, Lose or Draw". All I need is an easel.
Hey, YOU try vacuuming under the Concentration board!
-
I'd prefer the 80's Pyramid set, or the Combs-era FF set.
-
I'd want the sets to most of the GSN call-in game shows of the 90s. Or, as some people call it, a blue screen.
-

Heh, yeah, it's all fun and games until the cops come and bust the bass player for rolling doobies with the neighbor's kid in the carport.

No.
You get the Bullard set.
-
The Diamond Head Game.
-
I'd take the PYL contestant island, then convert it into a couch...it would go great with my LMaD84 vertical blinds.
Entire sets? Hmm:
-80s $ale
-80s Scrabble
-90s Pictionary
-
Super decades. Wait...I have a wall and a projector...
-
Treasure Isle.

Now THAT give a whole new meaning to "the world in your living room." :-D
-
How about the "Blockbusters" and "Concentration" sets :)

I'm surprised you don't already HAVE those.
Now if you could only find someone who could make original rebuses for you...
-
I'll attempt to make the rebuses. And if it fails, I'll have someone else take over.
-
I think Matt has someone with more experience in mind... or at least someone willing to sleep with Mrs. GameShow for the job.

Wonder if any parts of the Osmond Pyramid, H2, or SUpermarkeet Sweep sets will pop up on Ebay in the near future, just like the last J! set had parts pop up on there.
-
Gee, no one called the Scrabble set??? Ok, then, I call it!

OK, I know this is just a goofy fantasy thread that isn't supposed to make any sense anyway, but I can't help myself. If you're going to fill up your house with TWO game show sets, out of all the wacky, beautiful and/or bizarre sets you could pick, why would you pick the two with which YOU'D PLAY THE SAME DAMN GAME?

(ducking)

Oh boy, I'd either have to go with Dream House (80s) or The Hollywood Game (remember that one, kiddos?) for its gigantic TV screens.

Damn you Dave, you did it again....this time with a drumstick in my mouth. I needed to stop consuming consumables while reading your posts...

There are a few problems with that one....
1. Who would replace the broken light bulbs? (No one, apparently.)
2. Tommy Oliver uses up all the hot water and leaves none for you to take your morning shower.

Would we consider the Magnificent Marble Machine of the game of the same name a prop or a set? 'Cause if it's the latter, that's what I'd go for, especially if it came with a house big enough to house it.

No. You want the big pinball machine, you gotta take the question boards and desks too. It's a set.

I wouldn't recommend switching to consuming inconsumables.

Dueling For Playmates, complete w/the mud pit. :-)

Ah, but you only get the SET, Chuck! :)
"And what a set it is!" <rolls eyes heavenward to read his next line>

You all suck so completely. Any fool would choose the entire set of Legends of the Hidden Temple. Think about it....your own pool (you frequently had to cross the pool at the very beginning) and your own Fun House of a variety of Marques de Saade equipment in those rooms, which could come in handy at various and sundry parties. :)
Parties of which I have never been to, of course..I've just heard about. ;)
Actually beyond that, I'd love to have the WOF puzzleboard (pre-electronic). I used to get bloody giddy at the end of the show when I'd see Pat rearranging letters on the puzzleboard to spell out something funky. Anyone else like that?
-
Guess it's time I answered my own question.
I'd love to have the set from "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour" in my house. We've talked a lot about the quality of the show, but that set was great (as was the theme). Plus, having that set means you get to play two different game shows!

Can I have the entirety of the set from The Crystal Maze in my home, please? Plus some proper heating, because living in a converted air hangar is likely to be mighty cold, Aztec zone or no.
I do like the shape of this bulbous rounded triangle that I'm using for an icon on this post. It's fat and friendly. (Like me!)
