Title: Buzzr Q3 2025
Post by: SRIV94 on August 17, 2025, 06:42:51 PM
Sorry to make a new thread, but since we’re well into Q3 might as well ask here instead of in Q2.

Is anything in the Back to School Week starting a week from tomorrow new to Buzzr?

Yes, just the 2 Classic Concentration episodes from July 1988 which also was the trial version of the Best 2-out of-3 main game format, known as the Summer Fun on Wheels week. They had aired the first 2 episodes of that said week once before. The 5th episode is still skipped however due to airing 4 episodes a day. When Buzzr first began airing the 1988 CC episodes, they originally weren’t cleared to air any episodes with special music.

So Buzzr is touting fresh hand-picked eps of TPiR for the weekend of 9/20-21.

Basically, it's the first couple of weeks of Season 14.

Starting Friday and lasting the next two weeks, Buzzr will be airing the last 39 episodes of Classic Concentration that they haven't gotten around to yet. So we'll be able to add another series that they'll have aired from beginning to end, minus intentional skips.

So which 1988 TPIR did Buzzr run in the 5PM slot?

I believe this is the first episode featuring Rod Roddy to air on Buzzr. To quote Bob Barker, "This is a historical moment."

You believe incorrectly.

You're the expert here over me, but I thought Buzzr had only aired color eps with Johnny O. in the announce booth, and a couple of B&W eps with Arlene Francis subbing for Uncle Bill.

Ooo, I didn't even catch "Buzzr" vs. "The Barker Era."  Mea culpa -- BC1 is correct.

And in Steve's defense, there were a raft of posts that I deleted earlier backing up BillCullen1. I decided 7 posts of correction were a mess vs. 1 correct one, and that's my bad. I didn't notice the Buzzr vs. Barker Era streaming channel part of it either.

Any way we can keep a running tab for the 1988s?  Seems there are a lot of holes in this era at tpirepguide.com.

I'm not sure what you're requesting. tpirepguide.com is adding the episodes after they air on Buzzr/Barker Era, and if you want a hint of what's ahead, this page (http://tpirstats.com/Calendars/Season_17_games.html) shows the pricing game lineup for each episode of the 1988–89 season.

After the first five days, the only jump has been the omission of 7003D. I assume we'll never know why.

That will work.  When I had looked previously, the episodes had not yet been plugged in.  We're good.
