I was in my local Walmart store and asked if a clerk if he was aware of, or could find out for me if such an item is available now or soon. On his remote computer, he showed me a listing similar to this:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Luckiest-Man-in-America-2025-Movie-DVD/16580014175?classType=REGULAR&from=/search
I imagine they are just showing the poster image, and some photos as had been shown publicly earlier.
Meanwhile, over at eBay, I saw this listing with different packaging, and a higher price:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/236134870785?_skw=luckiest+man+in+america&itmmeta=01JX0NG94W1PCN89BM402NS84H&hash=item36fabc2f01:g:xdMAAeSwpnxoPwyV&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1dKtEQE7zpjEOon1YkpN38OE811XA3GFZd7a7QahFxKIFXZwvquWMisGyprwBKodlp5vvUa1aUQsm5otxQ59LfYYAS3ShxYN7wOUFbop4kg5a5%2F6PnlXW6a%2BQPGyZlN7cOBYxxngCrBo0AeD9PBnjfT%2Ff1ZvOH6HmBTiYJlQCLycChIk2OTlNEjW0F2Y0CZzME5aqn%2Fwksv0FBu8HIEFNn5As3lON2DSslvyoIES7dlBOOPhnwEnLtMIiIX0o6YJ0U8rKzdhHsy3futqoJdGKEkUw3f9bFoKglCinyMgq76Vg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR86SwZXoZQ
I'm not sure it one/the other/both is a true, legitimate product, or bootlegged.

I don’t trust either of those as far as I could throw them, honestly. But ymmv.

No, there has not been an official disc release yet, or even an announcement of a release date. The only legitimate option for home viewing right now is a digital streaming rental or purchase.

Well, I'm intrigued. If you search for "luckiest man in america" on the Wal-Mart site, you actually get FOUR hits, all (interestingly) at different price points. These are clearly overseas bootlegs (it takes weeks for them to be delivered, and one listing helpfully adds "English audio"), but how does stuff like that end up on the official Wal-Mart site?

Because all major big-box retailers use their digital storefront in the same way: outsource the majority of the items listed to third-parties who can do pretty much whatever they want as long as they don't cause noticeable trouble.
