Guess with ABC hiking their Hulu bundle and ESPN streams, they'll need all the ratings they can get. So, is January when they both return?

Here's an article (https://www.thewrap.com/celebrity-wheel-of-fortune-scamanda-press-your-luck-delayed-2025-abc/) from outside ABC talking about the changes. It does touch upon the fact that the game shows could get a continuous, consistent airing pattern as a result, which is something I've always hoped for them. A big thing that can make a game successful is if it becomes a habit.

93 of the 100 most watched TV "episodes" last year were NFL games. There is no reason for Disney not to try and maximize their ability to broadcast the games they have.
A big thing that can make a game successful is if it becomes a habit.
In the push to make streaming a thing for all the various reasons, broadcasters failed to understand that one of the things that make a TV show in any genre successful is persistence. Letting a show run consistently on a day and time, even if it's in reruns, will train the audience to watch it and prevent the series from leaving the audience's memory. You can't be the most talked-about show or whatever if you aren't on the air most of the year.

Hence why Family Feud and Judge Judy are always at the top. You can hardly find a time of day when one of those shows is NOT on.
