Does the fact that TPiR's nom is specifically for the primetime specials have something to do with the episodes that the staff submits for consideration? I know they've always technically been considered a separate series from the daytime version, but it's interesting that they would make that distinction.
I assume Pat Sajak is pretty much a lock for Outstanding Host and the other four candidates are just a formality...

I'd be interesting to see how people would vote for me because for me it's likely Ken/Pat, Jane, field.

It's gotta be Pat, doesn't it? I know he's not an Emmy favorite, and not nearly as revered as Trebek was, but it still feels like this is what they do when a veteran steps down.

It would be a total shock if Keke wins. I think it's between Pat and Steve, possibly Ken.

Except 3 of the hosts including Steve Harvey were nominated for Prime Time shows, Pat Sajak will competing next year.
-
With another season of Celebrity Wheel coming, Pat will still be eligible for next year's Emmys, so that may be when they give him the win.
-
It will be Keke.

I’m constantly shocked when a former winner wins again…

I think the thing that still hurts him are his well-known and widely unpopular in Hollywood political views.

Travis, buddy, I would *absolutely* vote for you. ;)

I am reminded of the story of assisting someone named Jack to vacate the saddle of a horse, and how a comma would be very helpful when properly aimed.

Actually, an edited version of the ceremonies held this weekend will air on FXX at 8 Eastern/Pacific on Saturday 9/14, although Sajak was not there to accept his award.
