The recently-canceled Panel Quiz Attack 25 had a host who did most of the duties you would expect, with the exception of reading questions, which his co-host did. Are there any other shows that featured "question reader" as a separate position on the show? I'm not counting stuff like the Clue Crew, I'm referring to a different person, on-stage or off, who always read all the questions.
As I was about to submit this, Kimmel on WBSM came to mind.

Grand Slam, both sides of the pond.

Did The World Series of Pop Culture have someone besides Pat Kiernan, maybe on the stage with the players?

Jackpot!

Legends Of The Hidden Temple had Olmec read the Steps of Knowledge questions. He also explained the Temple Games rules, and guided the team through the final Temple as well. Why the heck was Kirk Fogg even there, anyway?
And a sort-of example: the 1998 Jeopardy! CD-ROM game featured Alex introing and ruling players right or wrong, but Johnny Gilbert read all the clues.

No.

Win Ben Stein's Money
(oh wait, this was mentioned in the original post - and was it Stein or Kimmel (or whoever it was that replaced Kimmel) that asked the questions in the first round?)

Stein in the first round, Kimmel/Pimental the rest of the way.

Except during the first round, when Chris Hardwick reads the questions.

Someone had to hand out the pendants, I suppose...
Kirk explained the rules for the moat and each of the Temple Games during season one, but those duties were given to Olmec in season two. It did sound better having the authoritative Olmec telling the contestants what to do.

And then there was Go. The contestant(s) created the questions, while host Kevin O'Connell provided color commentary.

I can't find a U.S. episode with a question reader. Was this a season 2 thing?

Trivial Pursuit: American Plays had home viewers reading questions they submitted. A few people from the Forum won money as at-home contestants.
/Still regret waiting so late to submit a video

As loath as I am to even bring it up, two-thirds of The Chamber's run.

No, it's a "Kniwt's mind is clearly fried from doing too much LDS at Berkeley" thing. Edited my reply above; apologies. :)

No knowledge of Cousin Sal being part of it—I just knew of the first two. Omission not intentional.

This seems to be the standard in Japan, both for past and present shows. I personally have only come across two shows that haven't split the duties and one of them was Millionaire.

Olmec wouldn't have been able to give running commentary on the Temple Run from his vantage point.

Wait... was the temple a part of Olmec? Could he feel the kids running around inside?

Canadian Headline Hunters. Dave Duvall gave the clues. Jim followed along.

^^ By the same token, Definition. Devall read out the clue when the puzzle was first revealed.

MTV's Remote Control, the Sing Along with Colin category, he "sung" the question of sorts.
Jeopardy clue crew members although they are separate answer readers, not question readers.

On that criteria, I guess Johnny Gilbert and the few categories he's been "featured in" can be counted as well. I also believe Ken did some clue reads as well during Alex's most recent shows.
/and can we even include the other various guests?
