I forgot how good Play The Percentages was!
-
I don't think that's the right URL... and I even changed \"roll\" to \"role\"
-
It worked before.
If anyone wants any of these I'll get them out:
High Rollers '74
Play The Percentages
All-Star Blitz opening
Knockout
both MG98 think cues
-
Just tried out... got a 404 error. Tried going to the main page... got a \"Page of Nothing\" (that's what it said at the top of the page).
-
I tried the link too, and was getting a \"404\" message....
-
I just tried the link, and I, too, got a 404 message.
-
I uploaded High Rollers and Knockout here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outcastcentr...ralfiles/files/ (http://\"http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outcastcentralfiles/files/\")
You may or may not get those weird error messages. Just keep trying. :)
-
I've posted a lot of the stuff I got from that site here also:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tvgamethemes/ (http://\"http://groups.yahoo.com/group/tvgamethemes/\")

Have I forgotten how to click onto a link bar or are all
of the links shown above just sending people into The Forbidden Zone?

Same problem here. I think it's a Yahoo problem.
-
I don't know what's up with that. Keep trying, it's gotta work eventually.
-
As was mentioned in another Y! group of GS themes, Y! limits the bandwith and doesn't allow downloading when the maximum bandwith is reached.
HOWEVER, there is a way to get around it..... put each file in a spearate folder. For some reason, Y! Groups has that maximum bandwidth \"per folder\". Must be an unknown bug.
-
I was weighing for a brief, brief moment whether to store the cues at my website and have visitors d/l there, but based on how quickly the bandwidth exceeded messages popped up at Yahoo Groups, I don't want to exceed my own monthly bandwidth.
Does anyone the quality of these themes and cues?

Assuming your skipword was \"know\", yes, when I got through to the site, half of 'em were pretty good, and the other half were utter crap.

I was trying to clarify one of my posts, but was rushing my comments on this thread. Your quick appraisal kinda sums up my own theme collection.
As for missing the word \"know\", that's embarassing. As long as I'm not re-introduced to the warm tones of the rappin' dragon slayer inside a certain enclosure, everything will be fine, right? Right?
(Game show forum gives JALman mean stares)
Where's that room?

Yeah, you know how Yahoo groups are...frustrating, but for themes like those, I'll keep trying until I can successfully DL 'em.

I tried going there just now and got a \"no such group\" error message...

He just changed the address. Here's the new one:

Sorry 'bout that!

Yeah, same here...I'm used to errors when trying to DL themes off Yahoo groups, but it seems like the error message is almost constant in this case.

Sorry, guys..I have no idea what's going on. :(
-
It's working for me right now! Hurry on down while you can!
-
Actually, no, it isn't. Likewise, all of the links in all of
the groups lead down the 404 path. I appreciate the
effort you made, but it just ain't workin' out.
-
(checks to see what error message is coming up)
Ah, yes. That's Yahoo! Groups cracking down on bandwidth--a public group's especially going to have trouble. Based on recent experience in other groups, I'd suggest trying again once every two or three hours. Even then, you should only expect to get one file whenever successful.

It's real simple; waiting till nightfall or early in the morning when one goes to work is the best time. Just be patient.
... Or the host can decide to put each theme in a separate folder, as one suggested.

OK. I took the suggestion and made them in seperate folders. Does it work better?

Not yet. I think you just maxed it out for the moment. It still needs some time.
And by the way, thanks for doing this when you don't have to.

Still getting the damned HTTP 403 (Forbidden) message even after trying late last nite and early this morning.
I think it's just some Yahoo screw up, because it isn't just limited to one board. There are other's I've tried and get the same message.

I'm afraid it's only that simple for hosts that aren't Yahoo! Groups. It's either a flat-out screw-up, or they have a ridiculously low limit that resets every couple of hours, because I've had no better luck at ungodly hours.
-
Someone at FlashGames told me they got it to work shortly afte I rearranged them, but he was just looking for the MG98 cues.
