A short but entertaining story about the last episode of Chain Reaction, and the final end game that might have been...

That's a pity that a fun and funny show couldn't ride off into the sunset in a hilarious way.

/if he gets it "wrong," they don't win any money. Derp.

So Shatner can play the Winner's Circle by himself, but Jay and Bob is no joy. Sounds to me like someone in the S&P department was having a bad day.

The bit that made it to air was funny enough (although it shows how the one-word-at-a-time concept could potentially become bad television, esp. with a civilian), but yeah, I think the version Jay proposed would've been pretty damn hilarious.

Sucks that S&P couldn't have a sense of humor about it.

They more or less played Go in that last segment, didn't they?

That's what I thought too. Wonder if that inspired Bob to add that little wrinkle to the concept to create Go?

I don't think Shatner was playing for charity when he did that bit.

I'm almost positive he was.

What a great story! I wish it had worked out.
