Wow! Guess this means the "Moving to Vegas as a last ditch effort to save a game show" curse is finally broken?

In order for there to be a "curse", doesn't the number of failed shows need to be higher than two?

The only two examples I can think of are HS and LMAD, and I don't count Gambit because that was a revival purposely staged in Vegas from the beginning.

I am 1) not worried about any curse in this realm and 2) glad at this news. Very glad indeed.

It's pretty amazing that WWTBAM has weathered this many format and hosting changes and is still standing. I seriously thought this show was toast, like, six years ago. It's even improving in the ratings according to the article (probably a product of better clearances than in the past).

I guess it demonstrates that a syndicated show can pretty much run forever if you can produce it cheaply enough. (Cheap as in efficient, mind you, not necessarily in a tightwad sense - although we've recently passed the 7-year anniversary of anyone actually becoming a millionaire on the show in any way.)

It seems that WWTBAM is the Rasputin of game shows. Nothing can kill it.

Happy to hear the news.  What they needed was a good host, and they have that in Chris.
