Long time no post. Here's a peek at Wheel of Fortune's air schedule for this season. Lots of TBA's still, and stuff later in the season can easily get changed and shuffled around.

Just out of curiosity - does anyone know if the whole WWTBAM season has been taped? if it hasn't, I find that airing schedule kind of odd.
-
Yes. They did the whole season this summer, ended in August.
-
Weeks 2, 4, and 6 will air on the Millionaire double run for the few stations that carry it starting September 14th.

I'm calling shenanigans, because they don't usually even start taping until August and usually finish by November.
-
I know it's nitpicky, but does EVERY damn week on Wheel of Fortune have to be a theme of some sort? Even with the "America's Game" weeks, it's like they're trolling us- why can't it just be a regular week of shows without slapping a name to them?

He's telling the truth. The last tape day was August 20th. Their taping schedule was very early and compressed this season.

While I understand the need to wrap up the production quickly, that doesn't allow for tweaks once the season begins.

You must be new trolling here.

Okay then.
That's strange, but hey. I would just.hope.it was well organized.

Here's the tournament schedule (all Monday starts/Friday finales this season, I think they tried some Tuesday finales in seasons past)
I don't think they had any last season, either. Weren't most (all?) of the Tuesday finishes the week of Thanksgiving and/or an attempt to fit two tournaments into a sweeps period?

They probably did this to accommodate Chris' schedule with The Bachelor/ette.

So WOF's new minimum bonus round prize this season is $33,000. I wonder if they're going to make this a yearly tradition to coincide with the current season.
-
The Price Is Right is doing a "Decades Week" to start the season next week (70's on Monday, etc.)- each day will have themed prizes, Drew and the models will be dressed up in appropriate garb (check out Drew's hair in the ad below), and a new game will premiere sometime that week, probably on Friday with the 2010's...

Pat has said more than once that they will.

He even joked on the season premiere, "In a mere 67 years, the minimum will be $100,000."

If they're going to continue this silliness, they ought to junk the middle amounts: (in addition to the grand prize) have two $50k, (and honestly if the $50k disappeared it wouldn't break my heart) how ever many car+money and the rest be whatever the minimum is.

So this week starting tomorrow (9/21), we have the season premiers of LMAD, TPIR and Celebrity Name Game. Looking forward to the Decades Week on TPIR.
