FYI, the Facebook Page "Cleveland Classic Media" has recently posted dozens of mostly CBS "slides" and local slides from WJ(K)W/Channel 8 that stations would use to promote upcoming shows, or in some cases, would be placeholders if there was technical difficulties.
Website: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cleveland-Classic-Media/245324499326 . Once there, going straight to the Photos tab will be a bit quicker. The bulk of the game shows are near the top, but if you scroll down, there will be others every so often.
Definitely some good game show slides from the 70's and 80s. Enjoy!

Just on a brief look, there's slides for Pass the Buck and All-Star Beat the Clock. Given that neither show lasted very long, I gotta wonder if these ever got used.

It most certainly could have been used for a promo (albeit not likely.) It was more likely to be used for a trouble slide due to a technical problem, or a brief use say, coming out of a special report, or a preemption notice, like, "Due to the following special program, so and so will not be seen."

There are 62 episodes of Pass the Buck. Logically, there should have been 65.

Fair enough.
The reason is an easy one. CBS' monthly Magazine show. April 6, May 4 and June 1 were the dates that Pass the Buck was indeed preempted. The Price is Right was also only a half-hour long on these dates (and any date Magazine was on for that matter.)
