Am I wrong, or is this the Pyramid front game but with the monitor on the teammate's forehead instead of in the desk?

Looks like it; you flip your phone downward to switch answers. I've played it before, but didn't know that's the name.

I was going to dismiss it as another iteration of Hedbanz, but it sounds like there might be a few differences. That said, wake me when we get to Celebrity Hanabi Showdown.

Allison Janney to Simon Baker: "These two cards are red. But you probably already knew that."

I apologize for taking the thread further away, but it does connect to the joke I made earlier: is Emile Autouri still alive?

Its full name, if I remember correctly, was "Heads Up Charades".
It's a humongous pain in the ass to play on a tablet. :)
Definitely will look to try out if this comes around for auditions.

I believe there is a Charades card pack or variant, but the original game is just Heads Up.

Bringing this topic back from the grave to update that "Heads Up" won't air on HLN after all ...

HLN is going through yet another reboot, said to be more "news-centric" and "more partnered" with the CNN mothership, so "Heads Up" is getting the boot.
Sixty-five episodes have already been produced, and Telepictures is said to be shopping the show again for cable or syndication.

The Trainwreck-O-Comments on that Variety.com article is spectacular.

That is truly award-winning.

At least it's in English, and not Variety-speak.

If I was the producer of this shelved show, I'd try selling it to a network like GSN.

Bob Boden is. I am sure he would use his connections to do so.
