I didn't know he was laid off by ESPN, but Howie "Stump the" Schwab* has landed a new role...consultant for "Sports Jeopardy!" He'll also help with the trivia.

*Apologies for the Berman-esque nickname

Does not appreciate his Boomer-given nickname being assigned to someone else (http://binaryapi.ap.org/b6cd9258c4b844499a6cbb22b126f5d0/460x.jpg)

(Makes total sense that The Schwab would be involved in Sports Jeopardy, btw)

Working on TV in CT has it's advantages. Years back, Berman gave me a nickname as I was partaking in a charity golf tourney.

Me: If I win, I want a nickgame.
Chris: Thats easy. Matt "GREAT" Scott.

It was a cool moment for me.
