Title: Bob Hastings died - is this the first Dealer's Choice host?

Bob Hastings, probably best known as Lt. Carpenter (Captain Binghamton's "sidekick") on McHale's Navy, died recently.  I recall a "Bob Hastings" being the first host of Dealer's Choice (before Jack Clark took over), but I am not sure if it is the same guy or not.

One of these decades, I'm going to remember there's a separate "Celebrity Obits" folder.  I keep expecting to see them in The Big Board.
