I am working on a new version of the Super Password episode guide. I will be posting it here, when it is finally done. Does anyone know what were the themes of some of the weeks? The ones that I know are bolded in brackets:
#01 Ed Begley Jr/Harvey Korman/Dennis Weaver/McLean Stevenson
#02 Bob & Ginny Newhart/Dick & Dolly Martin [Newharts Vs. Martins]
#03 John Aniston & Peggy McCay/Kale Browne & Linda Dano [Days of Our Lives Vs. Another World]
#04 Sally Struthers/Art Metrano/Brenda Vaccaro/Dick Sargent
#05 Lucille Ball, Ann Dusenberry, Betty White & Estelle Getty [Life with Lucy Vs. The Golden Girls]
#06 Harry Anderson & Jack Coleman & John Ratzenberger & Emma Samms [Cheers Vs. Dynasty]
#07 Phyllis Diller, Jill Whelan, Pat Sajak & Joel Brooks
#08 Tom Poston & Audrey Landers; David Leisure & Christopher Hewett
#09 Dean Butler & Abby Dalton; William Christopher & Ken Kercheval
#10 Clifton Davis & Constance McCashin; Richard Kline & Nichelle Nichols
#11 Grant Goodeve, Adam Rich, Lani O'Grady, Susan Richardson [Eight is Enough]
#12 Jack Coleman & Leann Hunley VS. Markie Post & Marsha Warfield [Dynasty Vs. Night Court]
#13 Jane Wyatt, Elinor Donahue, Billy Gray & Lauren Chapin [Father Knows Best]
#14 Dwayne Hickman, Connie Stevens, Scott Grimes & Tricia Leigh Fisher [Dobie Gillis]
#15 Lyle Waggoner, Vicki Lawrence, Harvey Korman & McLean Stevenson [Carol Burnett Show]
#16 Hal Linden, Max Gail, Ron Carey & Gregory Sierra [Barney Miller]
#17 Bob & Ginny Newhart; Dick & Dolly Martin [Newharts Vs. Martins Rematch]
#18 Shalane McCall, Allison Smith, Rob Stone, Jory Husain [CBS Vs. ABC Teen Stars]
#19 Lainie Kazan, Dorian Harewood, Chad Everett, Jack Jones
#20 Lucille Ball, Carol Channing, Dick Martin & Betty White
#21 Tracie-Ruiz Conforto & Greg Barton & Louise Ritter & Dwight Stone [Olympic Athletes]

#01 is four people who have never been in my kitchen.
-
I think the themes were "four people who would work for scale and show up to play the game."
-
#06 Harry Anderson & Jack Coleman & John Ratzenberger & Emma Samms [Cheers Vs. Dynasty]
That's a major stretch. IMdB says Anderson was on Cheers exactly once during Super Password's run. ABC vs. NBC seems more appropriate.

I had "St. Elsewhere and the Careers Going Nowhere" on my card.
Bad taste dept.: I originally had "Ed and the Dead" but scrapped it.

All 21 would work for me.

It actually might not be that much of a stretch, but a stretch nonetheless. I'm think I've seen episodes of Super Password with stars being introduced by shows they starred in years ago.
#20, on paper, looks like it could be the greatest game of Password ever played.

The problem with your argument is that Harry Anderson was on Night Court at the time, part of NBC's dominating Thursday night lineup, and he had the lead role.

#4 just aired. No theme was stated; it was just Sally Struthers and three friends playing for Christian Children's Fund.
-
#20: PW+ all-star reunion, with the role of Desi Jr. being played by...Carol Channing.
Must...not...make "Sajak/'Wheel'-an" pun for #7...
-
Too late; the "pun" is already made.
-
I hated those pieces of shit. Weeks of waste they were.

Does anyone know what were the themes of some of the weeks?
I'm here to help! Numbers 9, 12, 20 and 87 are all Celebrities who secretly practice Voodoo.
-
Didn't Al Sharpton also appear on a celebrity week?

Well, if it isn't the rude and arrogant person who acted like a jerk towards me in the Sale thread.
Instead of politely pointing out that I misled myself, he acted like a jerk towards me, and not even apologized to me.
-
In all fairness, you can't play the victim role given the tantrums and threadjacks you've committed here...
-
I'm sure there weren't any real themes to most of those. Just "Which has-beens can we get to play the game for charity?"
-

Top tips:
1) we tend to have long memories about this kind of thing.
2) Given your history here you would do well to park the attitude outside by the fire hydrant.

Because you deserved it.
It's not his fault you don't know how to read, Mr. Nissan.

Okay, you got me.

No I did not.
People like you act like you are never capable of making mistakes. At least I realize I make mistakes and that I have a problem.

Step 1 of the processes is learning to own up to one's own mistakes and missteps. Step 2 is learning how to make fewer of them. Now that you're happy with your progress on Step 1, move on to Step 2.

If he's happy with his progress on Step One, he's doing it wrong.
-
I suppose I should be glad I didn't start reading this thread until Page 2.
(OT: I like the new forum default of 15 posts per page instead of 7.)
-
At least I realize I make mistakes and that I have a problem.
What problem would that be? And if you know you have a problem, why do you keep committing it, instead of taking a step back and saying "No, I shouldn't post that..."?
You can't repeatedly make questionable posts, then play the victim role when folks get sick of it. You've earned your reputation and mockery that you get here.

(the usual white noise)
Cry me a river, then build a bridge and get over it. If that fails, jump off it.

But what do you do to try to solve the problem?
-
Vahan, are you going to answer any of the questions, or ignore the comments as usual? If the latter, that is part of the problem.
