Title: Family Feud 1994 CD ROM on a modern PC?

I recently busted out my old copy of the Family Feud CD Rom from \'94 and popped it in. I always loved this game growing up. I figured I would have some issues installing it, but it seemed all was well and installed.  Before running it, I set the compatibility mode to run in Windows 95 Mode and 256 Colors. It would not run the \"normal\" way anyway. Besides only being the size of a quarter of my screen (bummer) everything seemed fine. However, when I play against a Computer family they either start typing an answer and stop, or type an answer and not \"Enter\" it (the timer just runs out). Is there something I can do to remedy this? Or do I just chalk it up to being a 20 year old game and it \"aint gonna work\"? Thanks!

My solution probably complicates things more than playing the game is worth, but your best bet is to actually emulate Windows 95 on your PC. There are various ways to do this. One option is using Microsoft Virtual PC... the only catch is you need an actual copy of Windows 95 (which can be obtained online, but I\'m not going to provide links to illegal software downloads.)

Along the same lines, what would happen if he ran Windows 3.1 inside Dosbox?

Would very likely yield the same results. The game should play normally.
