Title: Premiere of "Million Dollar Minute" in Oz (and bumping of DoND

After nearly 10 years - it looks like \"Deal Or No Deal\" may be losing its prime 5:30pm timeslot to a newcomer, \"Million Dollar Minute\" (which apparently is totally unrelated to the recent US CBS format of the same name). It\'s possible this could be the start of the end of DoND, which has been flagging in the ratings against opposition game show \"Millionaire Hot Seat\" for some time now. DoND will now air at 5pm acting as the lead-in for the new big-money quiz, forming an hour-long game show block.

 

Here are two articles, one promoting the new show \"Million Dollar Minute\" (hosted by Grant Denyer, who also hosted \"Australia\'s Got Talent\" for many seasons), and the other speaking of the changes.

My initial reaction upon hearing this: 7 does realize that people are going to watch Deal Or No Deal at 5PM then just change the channel to WWTBAM Hot Seat, right?

I think pownster is referring to NBC\'s show.

No, I just looked it up - Million Dollar Minute is a format that CBS is trying to sell, but that hasn\'t reached television yet...anywhere.

I can see the confusion; CBS is only running the two daytime game shows and Big Brother currently.
