Title: Name That Tune Lange Font
Post by: GSRebich on July 04, 2013, 12:31:53 AM

Does anyone remember the name of the font used in the $100,000 Name That Tune logo from the Jim Lange era? It was on Senor Wood\'s Game Show Page, but that site is dead.

According to a copy of the site you mentioned, it\'s called Coliseo, and I was able to find a copy of the font. If you want the zip file of it, fire off an email to gsfan2005@yahoo.com and I\'ll send it your way

While we\'re on the subject, anyone know the font that the show used when displaying song titles/end credits? Thanks in advance.

That\'s Horatio, which was Letraset\'s copy of Harry.

To be technical, Harry and Horatio were different.  The capital G, Q and R, the lower case f and t and the number 4 all had pretty significant differences (not to mention Harry came in five weights while Horatio only three).  Otherwise, the fonts are the same.

Kinda wish Letraset designed a Horatio Extra Bold, which would be akin to Harry Obese.
