Title: Interesting "The Dating Game" ad on eBay
Post by: Bob Zager on May 31, 2013, 11:40:00 AM

I found this ad on eBay showing a huge of list of celebrities who appeared on DG in it\'s first five years on ABC (Daytime and Primetime).

I even notice some who appeared on the show asking questions, and choosing a date for somebody else.

The New Christy Minstrels are incorrectly called the Minstrals in the ad.

Groucho Marx was one of them, and if memory serves he was picking a date for his daughter. HR Pufinstuf also appeared to ask questions on behalf of a child contestant. Dick Clark also asked questions, but the female, I think, was a Bandstand attendee.
