Title: Game Show Moments Gone Bananas: ID this show
Post by: gromit82 on May 27, 2013, 07:34:58 PM

On \"Game Show Moments Gone Bananas\" (repeated tonight on GSN), there was a clip from an unidentified game show. The excerpt involved identifying the letter that could be placed in front of each partial word to form another word. Revealed one at a time, the clues were:

ART

ALL

ABLE

ARZAN

Nobody guessed T (or anything else) until \"ARZAN\" was revealed.

What show was this? Judging from the graphic design, it must have been from the 1970s or early in the 1980s?

The Puzzlers (unsold Pat Sajak pilot)?

Thanks, yes, it was indeed the \"Puzzlers\" pilot with Pat Sajak. (Upon finding the clip on YouTube, it looks like I had missed the identification of the show.)

Let me guess, someone guessed F?

They didn\'t, but judging from the reactions, they were all thinking F. The clip can be found on YouTube at:
