When Five Below first came to this area 3-4 years ago, this was one of the first board games they carried.

Peter Marshall's book includes some of those photos, and I actually know somebody who owns a copy. H-Q booked a huge, lavish, elaborate vacation and invited the staff, the regulars, and most of the semi-regulars.

Also saw this cool "$10,000 Pyramid" framed package. What they think reads "10 dimes" is actually "Joan Rivers," one of that week's celebs (along with William Shatner).

I remember getting a similar poster when I got an NES game. Not sure if it was inside the box for Hollywood Squares or Classic Concentration(I don't think I saw it in either WoF or J!). IIRC, not only did they "claim" that TPIR was "comming soon" but also Double Dare(which I've read it to be nothing more than vaporware at that point).

That was around the same time Phil Benfield was under consideration to replace Jeff Dahmer as host of Double Dare 2003.

But Double Dare exists. It isn't great by any accounting, but it exists. If you like "physical challenges" that require you to guess the proper "speed" and "angle" from five choices each to win the stunt, there you are.

I saw the mentioned GameTek poster above a few weeks back, but really didn't want to put down $20 on it. I found it elsewhere on eBay for about $5 shipped as part of a complete Jeopardy! NES game and box. So, now I have a duplicate game but got the poster for less.
The back page of the instruction manual for Jeopardy! also shows box art for TPIR and Password, with the Password art being a shot of the contestant desk from 80s Pyramid (that has been mentioned on here before).
I also bought another GameTek poster on eBay for about $3 shipped which features Wheel, J!, DD, Wheel Jr, J! Jr and Hollywood Squares boxes and screenshots. I am going to frame them both and put them up in my home office. I think they are pretty neat.

You could on the NES too, it was just divided by five hash marks. If you knew that the spaghetti bean bag toss was speed 4, angle 3 and your opponent didn't then you were set.

Ah, I see. It's entirely possible the PC one did too and I just never thought of it as anything but chrome. We're talking about a game I last played almost 25 years ago. :)
