My takeaway from that story: "Huh, Guinness is putting the nitro-widgets in the bottles now."

This isn't really as revolutionary and revelatory as the author seems to think it is, and hardly constitutes "gaming" the system.  Still, first-person accounts are always fun to read if they're reasonably well-written as this one was.

You know a really good way to guarantee you or one of your friends will get called on down? Go with a group of 80. Cap on the number of people in a group? Go in 10 groups of 8 and pretend you don't know each other.

That's as much "gaming" as what this guy's talking about.
