Interesting...Looks like the plasma monitor score displays have been replaced with a single LED display that wraps around the wheel. I can imagine what neat things they will be able to do with it.

I, on the other hand, can imagine what they'll do with it.

I was hoping they would do things with the jeopardy fake podium display, like turn it into a fish tank as they go to commercial, but nothing has happened.

Here I was, thinking the Jackpot Round wedge was now being sponsored by Hidden Valley Ranch instead of Wish Bone.

Ah, but who will the new scoring display be sponsored by?

Is it the angle or is there a separate screen by where Pat stands?

My guess is that it's separate, in that it is likely way less expensive to do it in two separate segments than it is to do one big custom ribbon where the curvature changes along the way. Especially when having the whole thing work as one big ribbon is simply a matter of placement and programming.

Looks separate to me. The front of the screen looks straight, whereas the contestant screen appears curved.
Interesting to see how they'll divide the contestant screen into three individual fields, esp. when a player buzzes in.

There's this. (http://"http://i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh497/sanamie1/photo.jpg") Based on that, I guess the light above the player's portion of the screen will be the one to indicate who buzzed in.

I certainly hope they have plans for all that empty space.

The nerd in me wonders if there's any changes to the dollar layout on the wheel.

Having no space between the players' colors makes the layout look a bit too wide. There's too much dead space there to me.

But since the creation of the score monitors, the aspect ratio of the home viewers' screens have increased. Yes, the three-shot will be visible on the toss ups, the speedup round, and in transitions. During most of the gameplay, you have the contestant's color, and no "uncolored" spaces. If done right, the whole display could change to the spinner's color, so that the flanks of red and blue aren't even visible on Yellow's 1-shot.
And now that it's wider, maybe someone was listening my idea to display prizes next to the scores (http://"http://gameshow.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=22988&view=findpost&p=280560").
