There isn't usually a post worth reading on ATGS, but this caught my eye
http://www.vegaschallenge.tv/pages/1/index.htm (http://\"http://www.vegaschallenge.tv/pages/1/index.htm\")
Any details about the show would be greatly appreciated.
Also, it said it would be airing on Travel Channel. That is real strange for sure.

Sounds a lot like Dealer's Choice to me.

Yeah, I only glanced at the url and said the same thing(cuz I'm behind in my email like 50 msgs., trying to catch that up first before surfing)

No, I don't agree. This sounds like the television poker tournaments we've been seeing so much of, 'cept they will rotate from one table game to another each week. (say, poker this week, blackjack the next, roulette the week after)...
If I'm wrong, and it IS a ripoff of Dealer's Choice, that would be a good thing indeed! :)

And it's on the home of the "World Poker Tour," so it's not surprising they would want to do another casino series.

It surely won't be Strip Poker! (rimshot)
Brian
The Jehovah's Witnesses distribute Mad magazine?
We want some more pro wrestling (STILL) and NASCAR questions!

If enough of these reality casino games catch on, I wonder if Gambit, High Rollers, or even a Perry/Eubanks format revival of Card Sharks would have a shot in today's climate(GSN did do a blackjack-based game show pilot a year or two ago, but it did not sell to that network). Or maybe this would revive interest in TPIR's Poker Game :)

I thought about that, and I honestly hope not. I do not want producers rushing to put out a half-assed revival of a good show, just to keep up with America's newest TV craze. That's how we got a mo' money version of 21, instead of a version that could've had potential, like the one from 1982. I liked the 2000 version, but giving away $100,000 just for winning one round was anti-climatic and ridiculous.* Now, if somebody competent** can do this and iron out the flaws, then I'm all for it.
*Yes, I know they scaled back to $25,000 for the first win, I'm just sayin'.
**I am not a TV producer yet, so I don't count. :-P

Besides, your point is still valid even at $25,000.
