No pictures, black-n-white and generic descriptions.

This was really worth posting? Really?

Your obsession with print ads is creepy.

I would cut him a little slack.  Each game show fan has at least one "creepy" obsession.  Some like themes and their composers, some like end-of-show credits, some like the fee plugs, others wardrobe providers. Some need to know the exact game show line-ups for certain stations at certain times, some need to know the syndicator, some have to have every edition of every home game. Myself, I'm a TV Guide collector, which means I collect something most people throw out.  Plus, he's autistic, so he doesn't care what anybody else thinks.

I think the problem is (and this has been evidenced in the Broadcasting magazine and video posts) that he posts any and every game show reference he finds, regardless of whether or not it's rare, and despite how short a clip may be (i.e. a literally split-second clip of The $20,000 Pyramid during a 30-second montage). He's been told that the stuff he posts (and I don't find this to be an exception) is not really post-worthy, and yet he still posts every single game show thing he finds.

Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but I'll just say I disagree. A lot.

What that means is while he may be told that what he is doing is un-post worthy, he will continue to do it even after he has been told. Totally focused on what he wants to do and oblivious to the wants, needs, etc. of others.

This has to be one of the most tasteless things I've read here.

Anymore tasteless than you calling his obsession "creepy"?  He doesn't care one way or the other.  Don't get too worked up.

There's your initial statement.  Pretty tasteless, IMO.

Strictly YO. What's worse, Jimmy, calling something as he sees it or your use of stereotypes?

I don't know why I'm feeding you, but...

I honestly fail to see what I said was "tasteless". Yeah, I'll admit the "creepy" sentence might've been a bit too harsh, but it's nothing compared to your proclamation of "He's Special, so it's okay if his posts are bad". If you can operate a computer, you don't really have any excuses. Bottom line.

Then again, I'm talking to someone who is openly misogynistic and forces some of the worst jokes on this forum, so nothing you say really shocks me that much.

And honestly, did you look at Greek's link? There is nothing special about it. Maybe if it at least had a cool picture or something, then I could sorta see some justification to post it. But it's the most generic thing out there. I literally yawned when I first looked at it. I don't think my response was out-of-line.

/I swear, I'm not in any bad mood or anything.

You've had plenty of times to ignore him. I suggest you take it up. It certainly makes my life a lot less derp-y.

The word I would use is insensitive. Please try to be less so in the future.

I'm agreeing with Raygor. Roger, has that ever happened before?

What, you didn't like that Channel 10 logo? Well, it looked better in color.

I will be more sensitive in future. My apologies for upsetting anyone.

(Can I be the adult, please?) Oh, for heaven's sake. Jamey's post wasted, what, ten seconds of your time? You've wasted more time and bandwidth arguing over it than he did by posting it.

Guys, I don't literally post everything pertaining to game shows.  You know, there was also a $128k Print ad and a TTTT80 Print Ad as well as a $50k Pyramid print ad and a Cross-wits print ad that I could have posted but I didn't post it.  But I found this print ad with two game shows back to back because I thought it would be neat to share it with you.  I'll remember to show you something next time if it has some specific significance.  :D

I'll take $20 on "No" for the win.

And I'll take 2:1 odds that you'll snark without specific significance.
